Finally, I got Internet connection. You have not heard from me for so long because as efficient as the services are in Australia, they required a long time to get the Internet set up. I am now part of the 'modern' society where people waste away countless hours chatting, opps.. I should not type down my every thought. Actually I am not part of it yet, I don't have MSN, still thinking about getting signed up.
I got to experience how hell is like the past three days. The weather is a killer. If anybody thinks Malaysia is hot, think again. Actually I would not know, because little spoilt brat me got chauffeured around in an air-conditioned car when I was in Malaysia. Over here, I have to take public transportation. The public transportation here is freakishly efficient. I had done in dept study of the routes of various buses and trains. I am arrogantly saying that I'll most probably be able to out smart some of the local people when it comes to public transportation. We just got a car, so it is not too bad. But we still have to take the train, it's too expensive to travel to the city everyday (where my school and my brother's university are located). When people say oil is black gold, it sure applies here.
So far home cooked meals are pretty decent. Oh, except for the dinner two days ago. We made pasta that smelled like vomit, according to my brother. It smelled like rotten fish to me. I guess we will not have to eat instant noodles everyday after all.
People here are unbelievably friendly. If you ask them how to get to Rundle Mall from Adelaide Train Station, which is about 5 minutes apart by foot, they would draw the map of the entire universe! Stating the location of every constellation and every shop where you can buy your favourite brand of underwear (ignore my random rambling). My point is, people here are VERY helpful, which is good.
Okay, I have a lot more to say, but I can tell I am boring you busy people with details. So see ya!
